Astute Group is showcasing its position as a strategic gateway for European manufacturers at the World Defense Show (WDS) in Riyadh, taking place from 8–11th February. Through quality-assured, authorised access to Saudi Arabian and GCC defence programmes, it supports international technology providers seeking to engage with the region’s evolving defence landscape while maintaining technical and commercial rigour.
As Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf region continue to strengthen domestic defence capabilities, the need for secure and resilient supply chains has become central to international collaboration. Astute Group addresses this requirement by acting as a technical and logistical extension of manufacturers, helping to ensure advanced electronic systems meet demanding international standards for traceability and certification.
Mark Shanley, Director of Group Marketing at Astute Group, commented: “World Defense Show provides a unique opportunity to connect trusted international technology with Saudi and GCC defence programmes in a meaningful and practical way. Our role is to remove uncertainty – ensuring authorised access, assured quality, and supply-chain resilience as programmes scale and move toward long-term production.”
At the show, Astute Group will present a curated selection of defence-ready technologies, covering AI Edge inference, mission-critical computing, and secure connectivity. The portfolio includes solutions from European and international suppliers such as AxeleraAI, HUBER+SUHNER, Mercury Systems, Quell, and Minco, each with established experience in military and aerospace applications.
Shanley will also take part in the Saudi Supply Chain Theater as a panellist in the session: ‘Approaches to Localising and Scaling-up Production to Compete Globally’. The discussion will include representatives from Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), KPMG, L3Harris, and Aselsan.
Astute Group will be exhibiting throughout World Defense Show at Stand H4-G5.
