Dave Youngblood joins Avnet as Chief Digital Officer

Dave Youngblood joins Avnet

Avnet has hired Dave Youngblood as Chief Digital Officer, effective October 21, 2024. In this newly created role, Youngblood will lead and further enable Avnet’s enterprise-wide digital platform and eCommerce approach.

Reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Phil Gallagher, he will also be joining Avnet’s executive leadership team.

Avnet’s digital strategy focuses on simplifying transactions and delivering reliable and actionable data to its customers to help grow their business.

Youngblood has more than 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, where he has led teams focused on digital experiences and demand creation. He most recently was Head of Digital Customer Experience at Analog Devices and has also held prominent positions with Murata and Texas Instruments. He has a M.A. in Communications from St. Mary’s University and a B.A. in Communications from Austin College, and currently resides in McKinney, Texas.
