ECIA announces the three 2025 Distinguished Service Awards that were bestowed to recognise exceptional individuals who find time in their very busy lives to make significant contributions to ECIA and the industry.
ECIA President and CEO David Loftus named the individuals at the 2025 Executive Conference held in Rosemont, Illinois last month.
“The first recipient is from Future Electronics,” Loftus began. “This gentleman contributed the maximum six years of service, three, two-year terms, on the EDS Board, which included some difficult challenges and decisions during COVID. As a very chill guy, he always shared a calm approach to solving problems. Congratulations to Anthony Alberga.
“Our next honouree is the past chair and multi-year member of our Executive Conference Core Committee,” he continued. “She served as our master of ceremonies in 2023. And as I learned recently, loves to sing old Journey songs! Thanks, and congratulations to Tobi Cornell of Kruvand & Associates.
“Our final DSA recipient this year is from Sager Electronics. She has been a long-time member of our Executive Conference Committee and responsible for our outstanding lineup of speakers as Co-Chair for Speaker Vetting Committee for three years. I am pleased to name Pam Berigan as the third Distinguished Service Award winner of 2025.”
Every year, ECIA recognises individuals with notable contributions to the Association and the industry at the Executive Conference. The ECIA Executive Conference is the premier event for industry executives. The conference is specifically tailored for senior management and executives in the industry’s leading companies. The date for the 2026 Executive Conference is October 19-21st 2026, at the Westin O’Hare Hotel.
