Rep council to elevate electronic components supply chain

Waldom Electronics announces the creation of the Waldom Rep Council (WRC), a new initiative designed to strengthen collaboration within the electronic components supply chain.

Last week, the WRC held its inaugural face-to-face meeting at Waldom’s headquarters in Rockford, where industry leaders gathered to explore strategies aimed at improving collaboration and enhancing the experience for end customers.

As a neutral Master Distributor, Waldom is uniquely positioned in the industry, selling exclusively to distributors rather than OEMs or end customers. This position underscores the importance of manufacturers’ representatives in the broader supply chain. Through the WRC, Waldom aims to equip these representatives with the knowledge and resources needed to maximise the potential of Waldom’s extensive inventory and logistics capabilities, thereby driving growth and fostering innovation across distribution channels.

Don Akery, CEO of Waldom, highlighted the significance of this new initiative: “The Waldom Rep Council is a testament to our commitment to the industry’s future. Together, we are setting new standards for collaboration, responsiveness, and sustainable growth.”
