Rutronik is in the finals for the Supply Chain Management Award 2025 alongside the three companies Audi, Dr. Oetker, and Schaeffler.
Rutronik has been nominated due to its holistic approach to supply chain management with interfaces between suppliers and manufacturers, integrating AI and EDI to automate its processes.
The Supply Chain Management Award is presented annually by the management consultancy PwC and its strategy consultancy Strategy& and the German trade magazine LOGISTIK HEUTE. The award is one of the most important ones in the field of supply chain management in the DACH region. The award is given to companies that make their supply chains fit for the future through outstanding concepts and technologies.
According to the official press release of the organisers, Rutronik’s application impressed with a holistic, digitalised approach to process optimisation along the entire supply chain – from AI-supported document capture with partner COMI to modular automation solutions for customers. The aim is to shorten throughput times, increase transparency, and strengthen cooperation on the supplier as well as the customer side.
On 11th November, the concept will be presented to the entire jury in Frankfurt. The award ceremony will take place on the evening of the final day, including an audience vote and a ceremony to mark the 20th anniversary of the Supply Chain Awards.
Awards are presented in two categories. In addition to the Supply Chain Management Award, one company is honoured with the ‘Best Solution Award’. The companies CeiliX, IFCO, Merck, and paretos have been nominated for this second prize.
