Arrow Electronics launches dedicated EV charging hub

Arrow Electronics has launched a new resource hub dedicated to the latest trends in electric vehicle (EV) charging within the automotive industry.

This hub expands Arrow’s content library, aiming to support engineers who are developing the next generation of electric vehicle chargers and the accompanying software ecosystem. The platform offers design and technical assistance for all three categories of EV chargers: on-board chargers, AC chargers, and DC (fast) chargers.

As part of this initiative, Arrow has released a free eBook that explores the most recent advancements in EV charging, including costs, adapters, and the economic benefits of electric vehicles. Additionally, Arrow has made several webinars available on-demand, such as ‘Trends and Technologies for Next-Gen EV Charging Solutions,’ presented by Steven Shackell, Arrow’s Supplier Management Director for Semiconductors, in collaboration with eInfochips, an Arrow company.

“In the transformative world of sustainable transportation, electric vehicles are at the forefront of innovation, leading the shift towards a new era of mobility,” said Shackell. “At the heart of this revolution is the rapid advancement in EV-charging technology – a crucial element of the electric vehicle ecosystem. By focusing on efficiency, user experience, connectivity, and upskilling, Arrow Electronics assists its customers in delivering innovative solutions that meet the growing demand of this sector.”

Arrow is also hosting a webinar on 10th September in collaboration with Molex, titled ‘Future-Proofing EV Charging: The Critical Need for Connectors’. This webinar will be available to watch live or on-demand by registering here.
