TTI brings IP&E expertise to electronica 2026

TTI IP&E – Europe will highlight its technical expertise and offering at electronica 2026, taking place in Munich, Germany, from 10-13th November. With its broad product portfolio, deep technical knowledge, tailored supply chain solutions, and value-added services, TTI supports manufacturers across a wide range of industries. Visitors can meet technical experts from the TTI Family of Specialists in Hall C3, Booth 578, and discuss component technologies and application requirements across a wide range of electronic systems.

Artificial intelligence and data centres, electrification, and robotics are three prominent examples of broader change across electronic design. Engineers are balancing higher data rates and power density with tighter space constraints, greater energy efficiency, more sensing and intelligence at the Edge, and increasing demands for reliability. These developments are bringing connectivity, passive and electromechanical components, power, sensing, and protection closer together at system level.

In AI data centre infrastructure and Edge computing, greater processing capability is driving demand for faster data connectivity alongside higher-density power delivery and effective thermal management. More intelligence is also moving closer to machines and devices, creating new requirements for sensing, compact interconnect, and dependable power.

Electrification brings a different set of system-level challenges. Electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, renewable energy, energy storage, and industrial power systems combine power conversion with high-voltage connection, switching, sensing, and circuit protection. As power levels rise and energy increasingly flows in both directions between systems, component choices affect efficiency, safety, and long-term reliability.

Robotics and autonomous machines bring many of these developments together. Sensing, local processing, connectivity, and power electronics must fit into increasingly compact platforms, often operating in environments where space, weight, and mechanical robustness are critical.

“electronica gives the industry a valuable opportunity to compare ideas, see where technologies are converging and discuss what those changes mean for real designs,” says Marc Winfield, President of TTI IP&E – Europe. “For TTI, it is also a chance to bring customers, suppliers, and our specialist team together in one place.”

Across these technology areas, TTI works with suppliers including Littelfuse, Panasonic, JAE, Aratas, Amphenol ACS, APEM, YAGEO, Vishay, Harwin, Radiall, Molex, TDK, Smiths Interconnect, TE Connectivity, and Sensata. Its technical specialists support customers with component selection and design-in requirements across interconnect, passive, electromechanical, sensing, power, and protection technologies.

“TTI continues to be the leading specialist distributor servicing the defence, aerospace and space markets. Our history and dedication enable us to be a best-in-class distributor for our customers and the network share leader for our suppliers,” says Winfield. “Supply chain security, new design concepts, and product standard selection are at the forefront of TTI’s support. Our goal is to not only meet expectations but exceed them.”

Support extends beyond component selection and design. TTI provides supply chain and value-added services that help customers move from development through to production, with support spanning logistics, customisation, assembly, and fulfilment requirements.

“Value-added services are most useful when they remove a practical step from the customer’s process,” says Jörg Martin, Director of Value Added Services at TTI IP&E – Europe. “Whether that means supplying an assembled connector, preparing a customer-specific kit, or delivering cable in the required length, the aim is to make parts easier to take into production, reduce processing, and avoid unnecessary inventory.”

Visitors to the TTI stand can also spin the wheel for a chance to win a prize, enjoy complimentary coffee, and meet the team. In addition, TTI will hold a daily prize draw for an iPad.
