Avnet becomes franchised distributor for AirBorn

Avnet announced it has become a franchised distributor for AirBorn, a Molex company, widening its portfolio

Avnet announced it has become a franchised distributor for AirBorn, a Molex company, widening its portfolio of rugged, mission-critical connectors and electronic components for aerospace, defence, space exploration, commercial aviation and other high-reliability markets.

The agreement makes Avnet an authorised source for AirBorn products, which are designed for demanding environments and trusted in some of the most challenging applications in the world.

Molex acquired AirBorn to expand its aerospace-grade interconnect capabilities. By working closely with Avnet, Molex will leverage Avnet’s global distribution network to deliver these specialised products to customers in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) and the Americas.

“This agreement with AirBorn enhances our ability to deliver rugged, high-reliability interconnect solutions to customers operating in demanding environments,” said Alex Iuorio, Senior Vice President, Global Supplier Development, Avnet. “It builds on our long-standing relationship with Molex and supports innovation across aerospace, defence and other mission-critical sectors.”
