Avnet Silica achieves double award victory

Avnet Silica, an Avnet company, has been honoured with two major accolades from Micron Technology, Inc., a specialist in memory and storage solutions.

Avnet Silica was named #1 Demand Creation Distributor and #1 Design-In Distributor for the EMEA region at Micron’s Industrial Distribution Conference, held in Marbella, Spain, on 6th November 2025. This dual award victory underscores the distributor’s technical proficiency and market leadership in translating early-stage customer designs into successful, volume production and driving new business for Micron’s advanced memory portfolio.

The #1 Demand Creation Distributor award highlights Avnet Silica’s commercial success and strategic focus in proactively generating new sales opportunities for Micron’s products. The award acknowledges the team’s commitment to ensuring customers have access to and guidance on the latest advancements in high-performance memory solutions.

The #1 Design-In Distributor award recognises Avnet Silica’s ability to support customer designs using Micron technology, leading to the highest number of approved designs converting into production revenue across the EMEA distribution network. This success is driven by Avnet Silica’s extensive team of field application engineers (FAEs), who provide deep technical expertise across applications such as industrial, automotive, and IoT.

“To be recognised as the top partner in both Demand Creation and Design-In is a powerful testament to the value we bring to Micron and our customers,” said Maryannick Dauba, VP Business Engagement, Avnet Silica. “Our strategy is centred on engineering excellence and deep customer engagement. These awards validate that our teams’ investment is successfully accelerating design cycles and driving significant new business growth for Micron’s innovative solutions across EMEA.”
