Ineltek signs distribution agreement with Kiwi Instruments

Ineltek is expanding its presence in the power sector. It has signed a global distribution agreement with Kiwi Instruments, a manufacturer of power-supply ICs and more, based in Shenzen, China.

The deal covers the focus markets in EMEA, the USA, and Asia.

Kiwi Instruments was founded in 2014. Its debut product was the KP1040, a 700V LED power switch. In the following year, the product portfolio was expanded to include CC/CV SSR controllers. Both areas – LED drivers and components for AC/DC and DC/DC solutions – were expanded over the following years.

Kiwi Instruments has now expanded its portfolio to include driver ICs for motor applications, linear regulators for high-voltage applications, and battery management products.

The power portfolio is currently being expanded to ICs for protection circuits and PMICs that integrate DC/DC and LDOs. Kiwi Instruments is also working on the development of a portfolio for the signal chain consisting of interface ICs with isolation, various amplifier types and current sensors.

Applications cover home appliances, lighting, security & surveillance, network communication, personal electronics including computers & smart phones and energy conversion & storage.

The R&D department at Kiwi Instruments makes up two thirds of the workforce and consists of well experienced engineers from well-known Chinese universities and from leading manufacturers in the fields of analogue IC, mixed-signal design, and power.

With an application-orientated approach to product development and project implementation, Kiwi Instruments has already won a large number of Asian and global customers such as Anker, Philips, Panasonic, GE, TP-Link, Motorola, Lenovo, and Haier.
