Infineon honoured with a Bosch Global Supplier Award

Infineon Technologies has been honoured with a ‘Bosch Global Supplier Award 2025’. The award was presented by Bosch, a global supplier of technology and services, in the category ‘Materials and components’, recognising Infineon’s innovation and product development in the fields of microcontrollers and power.

“We are very proud to have received a Bosch Global Supplier Award,” said Peter Schiefer, President of the Automotive Division at Infineon. “This is a powerful confirmation of our commitment to innovation, quality, and operational excellence, and of a strong collaboration with our customers. We will build on this strong relationship going forward when developing cutting-edge solutions that accelerate the transition towards software-defined vehicles with zero emission.”

“With the Bosch Global Supplier Award, we honour our best suppliers and service providers,” said Arne Flemming, Head of Supply Chain Management at Bosch. “The recipients rank at the top of our global supplier network of some 35,000 companies. They enhance our innovative strength and competitiveness in a demanding market environment.”

Comprehensive portfolio and future-focused investments

Building on many years of collaboration across several microcontroller (MCU) generations, Infineon and Bosch have worked closely to develop MCUs for the evolving E/E architectures, that are the basis for the software-defined vehicle. Infineon’s comprehensive automotive product portfolio, which is the industry’s broadest, includes control and connectivity, analog, sensors, and power. Combined with deep system understanding and application expertise, this makes Infineon one of the few suppliers worldwide able to support customers on such a scale.

Infineon has also been recognised by Bosch for its investments in manufacturing technologies and capacities as a basis for future customer innovation and growth. Infineon puts a clear focus on highly efficient 300mm silicon wafer production and wide-bandgap materials such as gallium nitride (GaN) and silicon carbide (SiC). In 2026, the company will inaugurate its new 300mm Smart Power Fab in Dresden, Germany.

Every two years, Bosch honours the best of its suppliers from around the world with a Bosch Global Supplier Award. In 2025, from its roughly 35,000 suppliers, Bosch singled out 49 suppliers from 14 countries for an award. This is the 19th time that the Bosch Group has rewarded outstanding performance by its suppliers – notably as concerns quality, costs, sustainability, and innovation. The theme of this year’s award was ‘Challenge accepted: resilient partnerships, sustainable future’ in recognition of successful collaboration under particularly demanding conditions.

It is the fifth time that Infineon has received the prestigious award, highlighting the company’s technological contributions and long-standing role as a key supplier to Bosch in automotive electronics.
