Waldom Electronics joins United Nations Global Compact

Waldom Electronics, a global leader in electronic component distribution, is proud to announce its official participation in the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.

This strategic move strengthens Waldom’s commitment to responsible business practices across human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption.

The United Nations Global Compact is a call to companies worldwide to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles and to support broader UN goals, including the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As a participant, Waldom joins a global network of more than 20,000 companies working collaboratively to build a more sustainable, inclusive global economy.

“Joining the UN Global Compact is a significant milestone in Waldom’s ESG journey,” said Don Akery, CEO of Waldom Electronics. “This reinforces our long-standing values and enhances our ability to make a meaningful, measurable impact in the industry and beyond.”

Participation in the Global Compact reflects Waldom’s growing efforts to embed environmental and social governance into all aspects of its business. From launching circular economy programs like Green Stock to making sustainability-driven donations through its 1% Pledge, Waldom continues to champion corporate responsibility throughout the electronics supply chain.
