Waldom Electronics welcomes Bulgin to tree planting programme

Waldom Electronics welcomes Bulgin

Waldom Electronics announces that Bulgin has committed to Waldom’s 1% Sustainability Pledge by joining the newly launched Tree Planting Initiative.

This initiative focuses on the restoration of mangrove forests along Kenya’s coast, an area renowned for its ecological importance and its role in preserving healthy coastal environments. Mangrove forests are vital for carbon capture, protecting shorelines from erosion, and providing essential habitats for a variety of species.

Partnering with veritree, an organisation known for its rigorous three-step verification process and transparent GPS tracking, Waldom Electronics and Bulgin will ensure that every stage of the tree planting process is meticulously overseen. Stakeholders can monitor the initiative’s progress in real-time, thanks to the detailed tracking provided.

This collaboration highlights the strong environmental commitment shared by Waldom Electronics and Bulgin. Don Akery, CEO of Waldom, expressed the significance of the partnership: “Teaming up with Bulgin marks a pivotal advancement in our ongoing sustainability efforts. Our shared mission is to create a long-lasting positive influence on both the environment and the communities we serve.”

Echoing this sentiment, Eric Smith, Distribution Sales Director at Bulgin, added: “We are proud to be part of this critical initiative alongside Waldom. By signing the sustainability pledge and dedicating 1% of our Green Stock budget to tree planting, we demonstrate our commitment to corporate responsibility and environmental conservation. This initiative supports carbon capture, enhances local ecosystems, and fosters community growth.”
