Arrow joins alliance to smooth path of deeptech startups

Arrow Electronics has forged a new strategic alliance with Ignite Next, Europe’s independent scaleup programme for deeptech innovation.

The collaboration is designed to bridge the gap between breakthrough innovation and market success for deeptech startup companies.

By joining the programme, Arrow strengthens the independent, multi-partner setup that already includes industry leaders Infineon, Intel, and Synopsys. The collaboration focuses on IP-heavy breakthrough technologies, including semiconductors, physical AI, and advanced computing.

Arrow will contribute its strategic industry expertise and deep commercial understanding to help founders navigate the transition from initial prototyping into high-volume production.

Jörg Strughold, Chief Growth Officer of Arrow Electronics, said: “The next generation of transformative technology is being forged by deeptech startups that require a robust path to industrialisation. Through our strategic cooperation with Ignite Next, Arrow is contributing its global reach and commercial expertise to help these innovators move seamlessly from prototyping into high-volume production, helping ensure that European breakthrough innovations achieve breakout success on the global stage.”

Alois Eder, CTO and Co-founder of Ignite Next, said: “We launched Ignite Next with the mission of providing deep, relevant expertise to Europe’s most promising founders. Arrow Electronics joining is a powerful validation of our independent, multi-partner setup. Their contribution is pivotal; by bringing their commercial understanding, prototyping capabilities, and expertise in moving into volume production, we extend our network with broader technology coverage and deeper market access for stronger outcomes for our founders.”

Ignite Next is Europe’s scaleup programme for deeptech innovation, founded by the former Intel Ignite leadership team and now independently operated. The programme accelerates high-impact startups developing breakthrough technologies. Headquartered in Dresden, Germany, at the heart of Silicon Saxony, Ignite Next works with leading technology companies to turn breakthrough innovation into breakout success.
