TTI IP&E Europe will present a range of interconnect technologies and cable harnesses for low carbon vehicles at this year’s Cenex Expo, held at UTAC Millbrook, UK, on 4-5th September.
The company, alongside its recent acquisition Raffenday Ltd, will be located at stand C4-612 in Hall 4.
Attendees visiting the stand will have the chance to explore innovative electronic technologies from TTI’s manufacturing partners, tailored for powertrain and battery charging applications. Additionally, Raffenday’s proficiency in high and low voltage cable harnesses for electric and fuel cell vehicles will be highlighted, offering a comprehensive selection of components for the next generation of electric and fuel-cell vehicles.
“Exhibiting at Cenex Expo 2024 underpins TTI IP&E Europe’s strategic direction towards supporting our customers and accelerating the electrification of the transportation sector,” says Dermot Byrne, Industry Marketing Director – Transportation at TTI Europe. “With Raffenday, the TTI family of specialists have a company with capabilities to produce highly customised high-and low voltage cable assemblies needed to develop prototype vehicles with the built-in capacity to support production volumes.”
Simon Blincow, General Manager and Sales Director, Raffenday Ltd, says: “With a legacy spanning 37 years in the specialised automotive and transportation sectors, Raffenday Ltd proudly joins the TTI family. We are catering to diverse industries, including specialist vehicles, industrial machinery, marine, and the evolving high-voltage and electric vehicle sectors, and our alignment with TTI signifies a seamless synergy for Raffenday’s journey ahead.”
TTI IP&E Europe, with its partners, will also spotlight cutting-edge battery and fuel cell technologies, addressing key challenges in the electrification of transportation. For designers of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and charging station manufacturers, the stand will feature Amphenol Industrial’s Megawatt Charging System (MCS) and North American Charging Standard (NACS) inlet solutions, along with AC outlets and charging cable solutions from Aptiv and Phoenix Contact.
Manufacturers interested in power distribution units and battery packs will find advanced 1500V high-voltage (HV) connection systems from Amphenol Industrial, Aptiv, and TE Connectivity, as well as the latest HV contactor, fuse, and circuit protection solutions from Littelfuse and TE Connectivity. Automotive PCB connectors for BMS applications from JAE and Molex will also be showcased.
For battery pack and fuel cell stack manufacturers, the latest sensor technologies, including current, hydrogen, and thermal runaway sensors from Amphenol Sensor Technology Group (STG) and Honeywell, will be available for exploration. Engineers focusing on HV power inverters and on-board chargers can discover the latest HV thin film capacitors, power resistors, and inductors from Yageo, as well as new power converter modules introduced by Murata.
