ECIA names Mike Morton, TTI, Inc. as Board Chairman

ECIA announced Mike Morton, CEO of TTI, Inc. has accepted the role of ECIA Board Chair.

Mike has served TTI for 40+ years in various leadership positions, most recently providing exceptional leadership as chief operating officer. Through his years with TTI, Morton has played a vital role in building the company to its current level of success. His knowledge of the industry and vast experience will be of inestimable value to ECIA.

“It’s with great pride that I have been selected to Chair the ECIA Board of Directors for the next two years,” Morton commented. “I’m honoured to follow many of the best people in our industry that preceded me, and most specifically Mark Shiring who set an example I can only hope to emulate. I’ve been very blessed by having the opportunity to work alongside Paul Andrews for over 40 years as well as so many instrumental people throughout the industry. I can only hope my participation in the Distribution Council and as a member of the board has positioned me to serve as well as those who I follow.”


Mike takes over the Chair position from Mark Shiring, CEO, Americas region, ebm-pabst, Inc. ECIA and its board of directors extend their gratitude to Mark for his significant contributions to the industry and the ECIA board. Under Mark’s leadership, the association has been positioned prominently for a successful 2025.

“ECIA and the electronic components industry are incredibly fortunate to have an accomplished leader like Mike Morton serving as our board chair,” added ECIA President and CEO David Loftus. “Mike’s decades of dedicated service and unwavering commitment to advancing our industry are truly exceptional. We heartily thank Mark for his leadership. These last few years have been very tumultuous for the industry, and we were fortunate to have Mark’s steady and experienced hand at the wheel of ECIA’s Board.”
