Mouser and Infineon present SiC webinar

Mouser Electronics has partnered with Infineon Technologies to provide the engineering community with a new webinar titled ‘Breaking Voltage Barriers: Enabling Compact, Efficient Designs with High Voltage Discretes’. This free-of-charge webinar will take place on 24th June 2025 at 17:00 CET.

Power electronics is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by the demand for higher efficiency, improved thermal performance, and more compact systems. As applications move towards higher voltage classes, designers are increasingly seeking technologies that can deliver enhanced performance without adding complexity.

The webinar will outline how these high-voltage components are enabling new levels of design flexibility while also supporting the development of more efficient and compact systems. Attendees will learn about the evolving technology trends shaping the power landscape, as well as the tools and resources available from Infineon Technologies that are designed to simplify the implementation of SiC technology and reduce development times.

By participating in this webinar, attendees will discover more about:

  • How 1200 and 2000V SiC devices enable compact, efficient solutions across a wide range of applications
  • The benefits of SiC discretes in achieving thermal efficiency and design flexibility
  • How the tools, resources, and SiC technology from Infineon simplify the design process, enabling faster time to market. Innovative power solutions from Infineon include:
  1. CoolSiC 1200V G2 Silicon Carbide MOSFETs, which exhibit efficient and reliable operation with versatile packaging options to suit various application needs
  2. CoolSiC 1700V SiC Trench MOSFETs, which feature a revolutionary Silicon Carbide material optimised for fly-back topologies in high-voltage power applications
  3. CoolSiC 2000V MOSFETs, which deliver increased power density without sacrificing the system’s reliability, even under demanding high-voltage and switching frequency conditions

The webinar will be hosted by Mark Patrick, Technical Content Director, Mouser Electronics in EMEA, and will feature Syeda Qurat ul ain Akbar, Senior Staff Product Applications Engineer, Infineon Technologies AG, as the guest speaker.
