Mouser Electronics to inspire innovation for all at electronica

Mouser Electronics to inspire innovation for all

Mouser Electronics will be exhibiting at electronica 2024, the electronics trade fair and conference, in Munich from 12-15th November 2024. Mouser will once again partner with TTI, Inc to exhibit in Hall C3 at Booth 578.

The electronica 2024 Mouser booth will showcase an exciting electric classic car demonstration, allowing visitors to see an extraordinary fusion of cutting-edge electric vehicle technology and unconventional automotive design. The booth will also feature the ever-popular ‘spin-to-win’ game, but this year, with a twist! Participants have the opportunity to win various prizes, and some lucky attendees will even receive their prize from a robotic helper. Attendees will also have the chance to compete in Mouser’s nostalgic 80s stacking game – ‘Pick, Pack, Stack’. If visitors need to take a break from the show, they are invited to enjoy a freshly brewed cup of coffee at Mouser’s coffee bar. Attendees to the booth will also have the chance to chat with Mouser’s friendly customer service team, who will be available to help with order and delivery queries. Additionally, visitors have the chance to win from a host of exciting prizes from some of Mouser’s valued manufacturer partners through its online prize draw.

Electric classic car demonstration

The Mouser booth will feature an astonishing electric Fun Cup Car, demonstrating how the latest automotive technology can elevate even the most unconventional designs. Built from the ground up by the team at Electric Classic Cars, this VW Beetle-derived race car houses a 1000hp (745kW) electric drivetrain from a Tesla Model S Plaid – the world’s fastest accelerating production vehicle. While the car won’t be demonstrating its supercar-level 2.8 seconds 0 to 60mph (0 to 100kph) acceleration in the halls of electronica, this truly unique feat of engineering is a must-see for attendees. Head over to Mouser’s stand, where the car will be on display, complemented by an interactive screen that offers a fascinating look into its inner workings.

Spin-to-Win

At this year’s Mouser booth, visitors can enjoy the popular ‘Spin-to-Win’ game, with a new addition. While a range of gadgets and development tools are up for grabs, the three coveted 3-star prizes will be delivered by an automated robotic arm, which carefully places the rewards onto a conveyor belt. Visitors can collect these prizes directly from the belt, which is driven by the Arduino Portenta Machine Control and Arduino Opta for motor control. This interactive demonstration also integrates advanced sensors, industrial buttons and lighting from Banner Engineering, and provides a fascinating exploration of the newest industrial automation components.

Retro gaming kiosk – ‘Pick, Pack, Stack

Experience a blast from the past with Mouser’s retro stacking game – ‘Pick, Pack, Stack’. Step back in time at Mouser’s gaming kiosk, where players race against the clock to guide a mBot character to swiftly stack packages without letting them fall. The 10 fastest players will be honoured on Mouser’s arcade-style leaderboard, showcasing their stacking skills to all at electronica.

Customer service pod

Mouser’s customer service team will be available to provide advice and guidance on how to use several of the services and tools on Mouser.com, including the FORTE Intelligent BOM tool, the Price and Availability Assistant, ECAD design library and Mouser’s useful conversion calculators. These online tools are accessible to help support engineers through the entire design process. Furthermore, Mouser’s representatives will be on hand to answer questions regarding orders and delivery times.
