Mouser Electronics has released a new video interview featuring Team HUGE and their award-winning robot.
The video was filmed earlier this year at the FIRST Championships in Houston, where the Mouser-sponsored team showcased their battle-ready 250-pound robot. Team HUGE, led by Jonathan Schultz, competes annually in the BattleBots competition, which airs on the Discovery Channel in 150 countries.
“Team HUGE is solving some real engineering challenges, and Mouser is proud to be part of their successful journey. Robotics has so many real-world applications and benefits,” said Kevin Hess, Mouser’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “The technology is becoming more prevalent, and robot developers will change the way humans will work with robots in the future.”
Mouser has been a longstanding supporter of robotics programmes, particularly through its commitment to STEM education. For over ten years, Mouser has been a major sponsor of the FIRST Robotics Competition, where high school students design and build robots to compete in assigned tasks. At the 2024 FIRST Championships, Team HUGE made a special appearance at Mouser’s booth, demonstrating the fun and innovation in engineering.
As a global authorised distributor, Mouser provides the newest semiconductors and electronic components, ensuring customers receive certified, genuine products. Mouser’s website offers a comprehensive Technical Resource Centre with product data sheets, reference designs, application notes, and engineering tools to support the design process.
