At this year’s Engineering Design Show (EDS), taking place in Coventry on 9-10th October 2024, Powell Electronics will showcase a wide range of advanced product solutions from its key franchise partners.
These offerings, including connectors, sensors, and other electromechanical components, are tailored for high-reliability applications across sectors such as defence, aerospace, and industrial industries.
Powell Electronics will be located at stand G25, where attendees can explore the latest innovations and engage with representatives from companies such as Honeywell, Cinch, Amphenol, Adam Tech, and Powell Agricultural Solutions.
A highlight of the exhibit will be Honeywell’s MIP series of heavy-duty, media-isolated pressure transducers. Constructed from compact stainless steel, these transducers are suitable for use with various media, including aggressive fluids and water. The range offers a cost-effective solution for challenging environments, where sensor performance and the ability to monitor internal or external failure modes are crucial.
Another product on display will be Cinch’s Z-axis compression CIN::APSE interconnects, known for their excellent mechanical and electrical performance under extreme shock and vibration. These high-density components are crimpless and solderless, ensuring quick installation for board-to-board, IC-to-board, flex-to-board, and component-to-board connections. They are ideal for high-speed digital, flex circuit, and PCB applications.
Amphenol Sine Systems will feature its AT series connectors, designed for a wide array of industries, including automotive, heavy vehicles, transportation, marine, military, and alternative energy. Rated IP68/69K when mated, these connectors offer superior environmental sealing and retention. An integral latching system ensures a secure electrical and mechanical connection, making them a reliable and cost-effective solution.
Adam Tech will present its ESF/ESM series energy storage connectors, a crucial link in energy storage systems such as electric vehicle charging, renewable energy devices, and industrial energy storage. These connectors support various voltage and current ratings, as well as wire gauges, making them highly versatile. Dust covers are also available to provide additional protection.
In addition to product displays, Powell Electronics will host several presentations in Workshop Theatre 1 during the event, featuring insights from its franchise partners:
- Wednesday 9th October, 10:30 am – 11:15 am: “Solving extreme vibration, shock, speed, and space issues using Cin::APSE technology,” presented by Cinch Connectivity Solutions
