Teledyne Miropac’s initial focus will be on introducing its ‘Hero Products’ to the DigiKey platform, ensuring that customers have immediate access to its most impactful offerings. The products are the best in its portfolio offering superior performance and reliability for critical applications.
The strategic partnership with DigiKey aims to enhance product visibility, accelerate market expansion, and drive mutual growth opportunities for both companies. Teledyne Micropac deeply values its existing partnerships and is confident that this collaboration will open new doors to shared success.
Founded in 1963, Micropac is a diversified, high technology company located in Garland, Texas.
It specialises in high reliability microcircuit products and electronic assemblies, power products, sensors, displays, optical data transport products and optoelectronic components and assemblies. Micropac develops and manufactures complete custom designs to meet specific customer applications and requirements. Its products are being used throughout the world in a wide variety of military/aerospace, space, medical and industrial applications.
Micropac was acquired by Teledyne in November last year.
Most recently the company debuted a patent-pending, standard 3U VPX card (pictured). This card enables engineers to design high-efficiency, power-dense satellites for Low Earth Orbit (LEO) missions while achieving their safety and performance goals. The new VPX-3U-SP-PSC family of power supply cards provides up to 600W total output power in a small package the size of an index card.
Teledyne Micropac’s COTS power cards, designed for 3U Open VPX systems, help overcome critical barriers to time-to-market. The VPX‑3U-SP-PSC accelerates design and integration times with PMBus, VITA 62, VITA 48, and VITA 78 compliance. Teledyne Micropac’s planned stocking of standard catalogue items ensures shorter lead times.
