TE Connectivity wins Global Manufacturer Award

TE Connectivity wins Global Manufacturer Award

Waldom Electronics announced TE Connectivity as the recipient of the Global Manufacturer Award at the inaugural Waldom ESG Awards.

These first-of-their-kind awards within the IP&E (Interconnect, Passive, and Electromechanical) sector celebrate outstanding efforts in sustainability and responsible practices.

The Global Manufacturer Award recognises TE Connectivity’s significant contributions to minimising waste and fostering a circular economy. In 2023, TE Connectivity redirected the most value of stock to Waldom through its distributor returns and factory excess, preventing this inventory from ending up in landfills. This effort extended the life of valuable components and reinforced a sustainable supply chain through Waldom’s Green Stock Program.

“We are thrilled to present TE Connectivity with this award,” said Don Akery, CEO of Waldom Electronics. “Their leadership in sustainability sets a powerful example for the entire industry, demonstrating how thoughtful practices can drive both business success and environmental responsibility.”
