Embedded for AI: Rutronik at embedded world 2025

At embedded world 2025 (11-13th March, Nuremberg/Germany), Rutronik will be presenting AI developments and the latest technologies in the field of embedded systems in Hall 2, Stand 248.

Under the slogan ‘Embedded for AI’, Rutronik will be showcasing AI-based solutions for industry implemented with the new partner collective mind. In addition, the distributor will provide information about the latest Base Boards and Adapter Boards from Rutronik System Solutions and will offer insights and hands-on opportunities with a variety of innovative products for, among other things, AI-supported applications.

Rutronik will be presenting its portfolio of different product areas using specific application concepts and demonstrations, such as the combinable Base Boards and Adapter Boards from Rutronik System Solutions, including the current RAB5 – OSIRE. This year’s focus is on artificial intelligence (AI), and the company’s partner collective mind will be on hand to demonstrate how machine vision can be used to optimise logistics processes. Rutronik will also be presenting manufacturers of electronic components with a focus on AI technologies and AI applications.

Time advantage in the development of customer-efficient AI applications

The investment of the distribution company Rutronik in the AI specialist collective mind, announced in October 2024, will enable the companies to combine their strengths. In addition to the logistics and consulting expertise of many different companies, Rutronik contributes, above all, hardware expertise at the product level of electronic components. Since 2018, collective mind has been focusing primarily on the field of machine vision. AI technology is used here to automate image processing. In this field, collective mind is the first company in Germany to have developed a certified safety system that is based on camera-based object and process recognition.

Adapter Board RAB5 – OSIRE developed by Rutronik System Solutions

As a research and development division, Rutronik System Solutions is a reliable partner for industrial customers. The latest Adapter Board RAB5 – OSIRE has been specially designed for LED applications in the automotive industry and Industry 4.0. With the RAB5 – OSIRE, the experts at Rutronik are relying on high-performance LEDs from the OSIRE series by ams Osram. Similar to the previous boards, the RAB5 – OSIRE can be combined with all Base Boards (Rutronik Development Kits, RDK) and other Adapter Boards (Rutronik Adapter Boards, RAB), thanks to the Arduino interface.

Suppliers Area

Another highlight at the Rutronik stand will be the Suppliers Area. With products from Infineon, MediaTek, and Nordic Seminconductor, among others, Rutronik is showcasing AI-related semiconductors. A broad product portfolio from embedded manufacturers such as Intel, Asus, Adlink, and Kontron will also be presented. Various display solutions from TFT, LCD, OLED, ePaper to SmartDisplays complement the range.
