PEI-Genesis announced a new global franchise agreement with Sumitomo Electric Interconnect Products, a manufacturer of electric wire, optical fibre cable, and heat shrink products.
This partnership expands PEI-Genesis’s portfolio to include heat shrink tubing, solder sleeves, crimp termination products, and heat shrink identification solutions, providing customers with a more complete, end-to-end interconnect solution.
The addition of Sumitomo Electric Interconnect Products enhances PEI-Genesis’s offering of connector accessories and cable management solutions designed to improve the reliability, durability, protection, and organisation of electrical interconnect systems. These products support a broad range of applications across industries, including electric power, data communications, automotive, industrial automation, medical devices, aerospace, transportation, and electronics manufacturing.
By expanding its complementary cable protection and termination technologies alongside its extensive connector portfolio, PEI-Genesis continues to simplify sourcing and accelerate deployment for engineers and OEMs seeking integrated interconnect solutions from a single trusted partner.
